We believe in Ubuntu and its philosophy which is based on the principle of inclusivity, justice, human dignity, tolerance, solidarity, equality and self determination.
Our vision is to unite the voices, build legacy and advance justice for people of African descent in Europe and the global African diaspora. To create a space where people of African descent enjoy full equality, justice, and respect for their human rights, free from all forms of racism, Afrophobia, marginalization and other related forms of intolerance, in their specific social and cultural context and distinctive identities.
To ensure the advancement of concrete measures and policies from the European institutions, national State governments and all international institutions and organisations that contribute towards the promotion of racial equality and justice for people of African descent, strengthening the rule of law, democracy, peace, development of societies as a whole and the implementation of all existing mechanisms and laws related to the promotion of rights of people of African descent.
To serve as a consistent, reliable reference point for mobilizing, networking, partnership and collaboration between people of African descent in Europe and the global African diaspora, and all UN mechanisms, the European Union and European institutions, the African Union and all international, regional, national and local organisations working to promote the interest and rights of people of African descent.
To support the recognition of the right for Reparations and Reparatory Justice for Maangamizi as crime against humanity committed against people of African descent during transatlantic slavery and colonialism, and for Economic, Social and Climate Justice as consequences of their legacies, as enshrined in the resolution and declaration of Europe Pan-African Coalition on Reparatory Justice(EPA-CRJ) and the African Union African Diaspora 6th Region High Council and all other International, national and regional organisation and institution that support the cause of Reparations and Reparatory justice for people of African descent.
To Unite and provide a coherent organizational voice for People of African descent in Europe and the global African diaspora and to ensure the full representation, integration and participation in thedecision-making process of all the United Nations mechanisms, African Union, European Union, international and regional institutions and all their affiliations in matters which affect them directly.
To advocate for the human rights of people of African descent, their right to recognition and self-determination as proclaimed in the UN declaration for the respect of human rights of people of African descent and as described in all applicable international Treaties and Resolutions on Human and Peoples Rights. By virtue of this right, people of African descent can freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development, strengthening autonomous decision-making capacity and fully enjoying their human rights and fundamental freedoms on basis of equality.
To eradicate all forms of racism, racial discrimination, and Afrophobia against People of African descent and their recognition as direct consequence of the legacies of colonization and transatlantic slave trade of African people, and to call on institutions, States and individuals to acknowledge their roles in perpetuating these legacies of injustice, also to take meaningful steps towards accountability and eliminate the hindrances for sustainable development and equal opportunities for all.
To mobilize and offer perspectives which promote a participatory process for the global African diaspora where respect, equity, equality and equal opportunities are key-aspects and in promoting the development legal, political and constitutional frameworks in pursuing their objectives in for the advancement of the rights of people of African descent.
To support in advancing the cause of Reparations and Reparatory Justice for people of African descent, in line with the United Nations Declaration on promotion and full respect of the human rights of people of African descent, the International Decades of People of African Descent 2015-2024, 2025-2034, the Durban Programme of Actions, AU Human & People's rights, the Constitution of the African Union African Diaspora 6th Region High Council; The Accra Declaration on the Decade of Return (2019); The Abuja Proclamation 1993, and the Accra Declaration on Reparations and Racial Healing 2023.
